><"

yesterday was full moon day, so my family ate 'zai cai' which is vegetarian...

but my family not so strict, mom said one meal of vegetarian was enough...so we had it for lunch!

we went to centrepoint, bandar utama...the 2nd floor has 1 vegetarian restaurant... Jade Palace

when we arrived there were quite some ppl, mom said she came b4 with her friend & the food was quite good..

all i can think bout vegetarian dishes are food either made from beans, tofus, beans, beans & beans...

when they gave us the menu, i was kinda shocked to see they have fish, prawn & chicken dishes...summor 20+ dishes per category...

i was thinking how can jus 1 type of beans or tofus make up so many diff dishes & yet look exactly the same like the real one...

bro ordered tom yam soup with seafood...mom & dad ordered sum stir-fry chicken dish & mushroom...& i ordered 'sa cha' bihun soup! :)

they came out quite quick...& the vegetarian 'prawns' in the tom yam soup look exactly like prawns!! i was kinda amazed & my mom told me those taiwanese ppl are smart enuf to create vegetarian dishes out of only beans & tofus..

my bihun soup came..tasted like beef noodle soup! wakakakkaka!! :D

i like the chicken too...altho it doesn't really taste like chicken >< but the mushroom sux anyways

after lunch dad went for his usual 'Saturday massage' at 1p.m... so did me, mom & bro! :)

mom booked an app. for three at 2p.m. in Thai Odyssey in Tropicana...so we went straight there

the massage was 2 hours & OMG! it was dam nice & relaxing...i like the part where they pull ur arms & my back cracked! :D OH OH & the part where they massage ur neck...aaaahhh so nice..

we finished at 4, & we bought rasberry jam at the bakery shop beside the Thai Odyssey...

after that we went to OU, cuz mom needa buy some stuff & Parkson had sale..

bro & mom bought swimming suits, meanwhile i went to MPH & bought ring files & seperaters, bought new calculator too!

went home around 6+ but there was a traffic jam

on friday mom said she got an e-mail from a friend saying there was promotion at this japanese buffet restaurant called Tenji japanese buffet in Solaris, Mt. Kiara

from a price of RM80+ per person dropped til RM30+ per person & it was japanese buffet...of course we go!

i invited wai yean but her family was eating vegetarian for the whole day so only my family went...

me & bro was looking forward to it & we left home to Tenji right after we arrived home from OU

when we arrived, we saw a few ppl queing outside & there were 2 papers sticking out..

i ran forward thinking i could get a place first before the other ppl that are also walking towards the restaurant :P

i asked the waiter & guess wat?
"Sorry but we're fully booked for tonight"

i was like WTH?! then i turned around & told my parents... "fully booked leh..."

my dad opened his eyes big big..."har..."

then i read the 2 papers...
1st : 'This session is fully booked tonight'
which means the dinner buffet

2nd : 'Lunch session are fully booked til 15th January'
WTH?!

bro was so disappointed...

then we walked around thinking wat to eat, til dad saw Kenny Rogers..."OK lets eat chicken"

i agreed & we went in, only 1 family was there ekk!

we ordered a family meal that came with a whole chicken, 4 a la cartes & 4 muffins...

but may i suggest that you NEVER EVER EAT THIS KENNY ROGERS in SOLARIS, maybe other places like Mid Valley can..BUT NOT HERE! why?
1. the chicken was so small!

2. all the a la cartes were readied & juz need to be served..mayb they prepared it since morning i dunno...

3. the muffins were nasty, cold, UNfresh

4. the Jacob potato was cold, when i wanted it reheated, they juz put in toaster

5. when the chicken came out from the back they juz put it on the table, & the waiter chit chat with another waiter...smokes from chicken all gone...cold

6. spaghetti was juz 'lok' in hot water, sauce was juz taken from a container, juz like the other a la cartes...

7. chicken served was not warm, mom wanted it reheated & they took soooo long to juz reheat the chicken in the back, same like my potato...

8. we saw another table, mayb occupied b4, the floor was DAM dirty, full of crumbs...& the entire time no one swept it away...

9. there were at lest 5-6 waiters & it took at least 1/2 hour to serve juz the a la cartes
bcuz they take the dish, then chat, put the dish down, then chat, smile, chat, smile WTH!

10. when they take the gravy out from the container, the same... left it on table for a while, chat chat chat...til all the dishes were cold...

11. mom & me ordered HOT water & they gave warm water, told them to change they juz brought 1 HOT water & it took them 10min to do dat...

12. reheated chicken came out, & they left it on the table again for a while, chat & smile...
until i went over then they start panic a bit ><

13. they wanted to swap the chicken over to another plate bcuz the current plate was hot
obviously they juz put it into microwave or sth + ppl want the plate to be hot to keep the chicken meat hot!

14. when they serve the dishes, THEY WALK SO SLOW!

wat kind of stupid waiters are these...mom started talking bout sis..
"If u in japan ah..HUH all these ppl surely get scold & fired one..."

then dad said "dunno how they can survive when more ppl come in..."

then i said "dun think any1 wanna come in also..."

i think they juz put all the foods into microwaves...they dun even haf a chef...

bro was already so disappointed he kept complaining the food sux..he wants japanese food...

WHAT a disappointing night...haihz...
